Heard this song for the first time the other day and fell in love with it. Took me one
around to figure out how to play it on piano...SUPER easy....could be some mistakes, but
played along with the song a few times and it sounded great. =)
REMEMBER!: This is on the PIANO not GUITAR...it CAN be played the same exact way, however...
============================================================================

Verse 1:
          Bb Gb
No matter how many times that you told me you wanted to leave
          Bb Gb
No matter how many breaths that you took, you still couldn't breathe
          Bb
No matter how many nights that you lie wide awake
       Gb
To the sound of the poison rain
              Bb Gb
Where did you go? Where did you go? Where did you go?

(Sounds like its an F that's being played here, but not sure)

F (Hold)

As days go by, the night's on fire

CHORUS (as follows):
                  Gb Ab Bb
Tell me would you kill to save a life?
                  Gb Ab Bb
Tell me would you kill to prove you're right?
              Gb Ab Bb
Crash, crash, burn, let it all burn
     Gb Ab Bb
This hurricane's chasing us all underground

(Same as Verse 1)
No matter how many deaths that I die I will never forget
No matter how many lies that I live I will never regret
There is a fire inside of this heart in a riot about to explode into flames
Where is your god? Where is your god? Where is your god?

              Bb
Do you really want?
              Gb
Do you really want me?
              Bb
Do you really want me dead?
   Gb
Or alive to torture for my sins?
              Bb
Do you really want?
              Gb
Do you really want me?
              Bb
Do you really want me dead?
   Gb
Or alive to live the lie?

Repeat Chorus

    Bb Gb
The promises we made were not enough
(Never play the game again)
    Bb Gb
The prayers that we have prayed were like a drug
(Never gonna help me here)
    Bb Gb
The secrets that we sow we'll never know
(Never sing a song a second time)
    Bb
The love we had, the love we had
                 Gb Ab F(Hold)
We had to let it go
(Never giving in again, never giving in again)

Repeat Chorus

              Bb
Do you really want?.... (GO BACK UP! Same as the first time around!!!)

End on Bb

the chord progression is good and it actually sounds like the original song on an acoustic. :)

.. though the Bb works better with a Bbm.. it's a sad song, it only makes sense actually :)

If you put a capo on the first fret it's Am and F. Then F, G, Am for the chorus.
