Why the heck does nobody know who Across Five Aprils are? They're fucking incredible..
not a single tab of theirs

here yet. Well here's the first, I may consider doing more, but this one was a LOT of
It's all 100% there, for

both guitars, and I'm sure it's virtually all right. Guitar 2's chorus riff, and outro
vary slightly, but

they're all based around the notes I've provided, so it's all there for you. Have fun!

---

Here's the first riff Guitar 1 plays this four times, then rests for a bit, then plays
once more:

e|----------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------------|
G|----7-7-7-5-x-3--3-3-3-3-x-2--2-2-2-2-2-x-----------------|
D|--0-x-x-x-x-x-x--x-x-x-x-x-2--2-2-2-2-2-x-3--3-3-0--0-0-0-|
A|--0-5-5-5-3-x-1--1-1-1-1-x-0--0-0-0-0-0-x-3--3-3-0--0-0-0-|
D|--0---------------------------------------3--3-3-0--0-0-0-|

After the first one of those riffs, Guitar 2 kicks in and plays these riffs:

e|-------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--10-9-10-12-10-9-10-9-10-9-10-12-10-9-10-9-10-9-10-12-10-9--|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------| x1
D|-------------------------------------------------------------|

e|---------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------|
G|----1010109-x-7--7-7-7-7-x-5--5-5-5-5-5-x----------------|
D|--0-x-x-x-x-x-x--x-x-x-x-x-x--x-x-x-x-x-x-3--3-x-0--0-0--|
A|--0-8-8-8-7-x-5--5-5-5-5-x-3--3-3-3-3-3-x-3--3-x-0--0-0--| x2
D|--0-------------------------------------x-3--3-x-0--0-0--|

e|------------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------------|
G|--10-10-9--7-7-7-7-9--10--10-10--10-12--14-12-10--12--|
D|---x--x-x--x-x-x-x-x---x---x--x---x--x---x--x--x---x--|
A|---8--8-7--5-5-5-5-7---8---8--8---8-10--12-10--8--10--| x1
D|------------------------------------------------------|

e|---------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------|
G|----1010109-x-7--7-7-7-7-x-5--5-5-5-5-5-x----------------|
D|--0-x-x-x-x-x-x--x-x-x-x-x-x--x-x-x-x-x-x-3--3-3-0--0-0--|
A|--0-8-8-8-7-x-5--5-5-5-5-x-3--3-3-3-3-3-x-3--3-3-0--0-0--| x1
D|--0-------------------------------------x-3--3-3-0--0-0--|

Guitar 1 gets his metal on here with some nice fast strumming:

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------|
G|----------------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------------|
A|--000000000000555555555555888888777333000000000000--| x4
D|--000000000000555555555555888888777333000000000000--|

Guitar 2 plays this over the top:

e|------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------|
G|--7-10-7---7-10-7-10--9-5-7-7-10-7--|
D|--x--x-x---x--x-x--x--x-x-x-x--x-x--|
A|--5--8-5---5--8-5--8--7-3-5-5--8-5--|
D|------------------------------------|

Little rest for a little drum fill, then onto both guitars playing this four times with
decreasing tempo:

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------9----9-----| (Let these 9's and 12's ring out
G|-----------------------------12---12---12--| to give that dischord sound)
D|--0-00-000-0000-00000-000000---------------|
A|--0-00-000-0000-00000-000000---------------|
D|--0-00-000-0000-00000-000000---------------|
    . .. ... .... ..... ......

The tempo builds back up as both guitars play this once:

e|--------------|
B|--------------|
G|--------------|
D|--0--0--0--0--|
A|--0--0--0--0--|
D|--0--0--0--0--|

We launch back into the awesomeness here, as Guitar 1 plays these chords twice:

e|----------------------------|
B|----------------------------|
G|----------------------------|
D|--5-----7-----12-----9------|
A|--5-x16-7-x16-12-x16-9-x16--|
D|--5-----7-----12-----9------|

Guitar 2 plays this lovely little fill eight times over the top:

e|----------------------------------------|
B|--------------10-10-10-8-8-8-7h8p7------|
G|--7-7-7-6-6-6----------------------9-7--|
D|----------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------|

Guitar 1 then plays this little fill once:

e|-------------------------------------|
B|-----8---------8--------6-------6----|
G|--10---10---10---10---9---9---9---9--|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------|

Guitar 1 plays this small clean undistorted fill eight times:

e|---------------------------|
B|---------------------------|
G|---------------------------|
D|--3-----4-------3-----5----|
A|----5-0---2-0-1---1-3---3--|
D|---------------------------|

Guitar 2 plays this six times over that fill:

e|---------------------------|
B|---------------------------|
G|--------2-------------5----|
D|--0-3-5---5-3-2-3-2-0---3--|
A|---------------------------|
D|---------------------------|

Mmm... back into heavyness, Guitar 1 gets palm-muted, playing this four times:

e|---------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------10-9-7-------10-9-7-------10-9-7-------10/12/10--9-10--|
D|---------x-x-x--------x-x-x--------x-x-x--------x--x--x--x--x--|
A|--0-0-0--8-7-5-5-5-5--8-7-5-8-8-8--8-7-5-0-0-0--8/10/-8--7--8--|
D|--0-0-0--------5-5-5--------8-8-8--------0-0-0-----------------|
    . . . . . . . . . . . .

Guitar 2 starts a harmony of the above part here, playing it twice:

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------14-12-10-------15-14-12-------17-15-14-------14/15/14-12-14--|
D|---------x--x--x--------x--x--x--------x--x--x--------x--x--x--x--x--|
A|--0-0-0-12-10--8-5-5-5-13-12-10-8-8-8-15-13-12-0-0-0-12/13/12-10-12--|
D|--0-0-0----------5-5-5----------8-8-8----------0-0-0-----------------|

Guitar 2 goes back to his cool fill from earlier, and plays it ten times, then the fill
once:

e|----------------------------------------|
B|--------------10-10-10-8-8-8-7h8p7------|
G|--7-7-7-6-6-6----------------------9-7--|
D|----------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------|

e|-----------------------------|
B|-----8----8---------6---6----|
G|--10---10---10----9---9---9--|
D|-----------------------------|
A|-----------------------------|
D|-----------------------------|

Guitar 1 plays the following twice during the first fill above:

e|----------------------------|
B|----------------------------|
G|----------------------------|
D|--5-----7-----12-----9------|
A|--5-x16-7-x16-12-x16-9-x16--|
D|--5-----7-----12-----9------|

Then we're into the outro, a nice held open D chord (0-0-0) followed by both guitars
this until the end:

e|----------------------------|
B|-------------------------6--|
G|-------------------------9--|
D|----------------------------|
A|--000000-00-00-00000000-----|
D|--000000-00-00-00000000-----|
    ...... .. .. ........
