Bass Tab Beautiful Thieves AFI Crash Love (2009) Tune half a step down. This tab will be totally confusing in parts. I did a cover on Youtube which might help a bit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1cG40mLehU There's a tapping part in there which I had no idea how to notate in tab form so just a bit, or watch the video and try get the gist of it from there. There's also an effect in the tapping bit, I don't know what Hunter used but I did it a wah and flanger together and it sounded okay. But it's not necessary - it sounds fine when your bass is just normal. I doubt it's perfect but most sound alright. x - mute / - slide up \ - slide down h - hammer on p - pull off > - strum (listen for changes) ~ - let ring Intro part one: Gb|------------------------| Db|------------------------| Ab|------------------------|x2 Eb|-1h33-xx-1h33-xx-1h3-xx-| Intro part two: Gb|-----------------------|-----------------------| Db|-----------------------|-----------------------| Ab|---------------1-------|---------------1h3-1h3-|x2 Eb|-1h33-1-3-1h33---3-1h3-|-1h33-1-3-1h33---------| Verse = Intro part two x4 Right before the chorus, slide up to Ab|-17- and play the note a few times Chorus Gb|--------------|-----------------| Db|--------------|-----------------| Ab|-6>--------6\-|-------x1-1------| Eb|----3h5-6>----|-1> 3>------x1-1-| Gb|--------------|-------| Db|--------------|-------| Ab|-6>--------6\-|----3>-| Eb|----3h5-6>----|-1>----| Rest for a bit after the chorus, then is this little bass-tapping solo.
