G D

Walked up the stairs
               C G
I opened your door without ringing the bell
                   D
I walked down the hall

Into your room
                C
Where I could smell you

Would you forgive me love

If I stay all afternoon Waaaooooow

G D
I took off my clothes
              Em
Put on your robe
                     C
I went through your drawers
                     G
And found your cologne
                    D
I went down to the den
Em
I found your cd's
                  C
And I played your Joni
Em A Em
And I shouldn't stay long, you might be home soon

G D
I burned your incense
          Em
I ran a bath
                 C G
And I noticed a letter that sat on your desk
            D Em C
It said "Hello love, I love you so love, meet me at midnight"
    Em A
And no, it wasn't my writing
           Em
I'd better go soon
              A
It wasn't my writing

these chords aren't even in the right key, i just spent the past hour trying to transpose, but for those to know the song isn't in G, but in A. mark accordingly.

Hello, i'm msmuse101 the person who tabbed your house acoustic by alanis morissette. i am contacting you reggarding the comment that you made and can assure that the tab is correct. however i appologise that i forgot at the time to add to the tab that you are supposed to put a capo on the second frett then it will be in the correct key. i apologise for the fact that you "wasted an hour" transposing the piece, but i think that before you start bellitling the minds of people and telling them that it is wrong you should stop and realise that guitarists are clever people and can probably figure out for them selves that they need to use a capo to play this song. i would also like to add that maybe before you critisise other peoples contributions you should probably actualy make a contribution your self.
Hope i havn't wasted your time and this info has been of some use to you,
msmuse101 :D
