I just put this together for playing acoustically,
also where the upstrokes are,
they can be played as downstrokes also,
I just put them as upstrokes to compliment the style of the song.

VARIATION 1 - *FOR EXAMPLE*

The basic principle behind Variation 1 is that instead of the arpeggio, you basically 
just hit the
top two notes of the chord, kind of like a mariachi band vibe/spanish guitar vibe.

It goes for any part of the song where it says you can play variation 1 there also, obviously.
