CAPO II
(sounds best finger-strummed rather than played with a flat pick)
[D] I知 flying on this plane
Back into your arms again
And my [G] eyes are sad and cloudy
My teardrops falls like [D] rain
[D] As I look down past my wing
Flying home to you again
In the [G] clouds I see your picture
While the engine sings your [D] name
I知 [Bm] flying [D] high, up [Bm] in the [D] sky
But my [G] heart keeps looking for you
All around, down on the [D] ground
On [Bm] every [D] hill, in [Bm] every [D] house
I [G] see your face in [Am] every window down [Bm] below
[D] I知 thinking, flying here of those arguments we had
Of the [G] times we slammed our door
Said goodbye good[D]bye
[D] I walked away a dozen times
I drove away a hundred more
But [G] all the trains and all the buses brought me back here to our [D] door
I知 [Bm] flying [D] high, up [Bm] in the [D] sky
But my [G] heart keeps looking for you
All around, down on the [D] ground
On [Bm] every [D] hill, in [Bm] every [D] house
I [G] see your face in [Am] every window down [Bm] below
I知 [Bm] flying [D] high, up [Bm] in the [D] sky
But my [G] heart keeps looking for you
All around, down on the [D] ground
On [Bm] every [D] hill, in [Bm] every [D] house
I [G] see your face in [Am] every window down [Bm] below
I [G] see your face in [Am] every window down [D] below
[D]
Very good...one minor correction: that Am sounds better to me as an Em. This song is in the key of D major- Am is not in that key, but Em is.
Yeah, the Am sounds like a straight A to me, more than Em.
And In the chorus I don't think you need to go from Bm to D, just hammering/picking Bm sounds more accurate.
