Glimmer by Aqualung
Capo 5'th Fret
For the verses in this song you have to listen to the strum pattern because it's a bit
at first, but after a listen or two you can get it. I'm also not completely sure on the
of the C/B chord there, I just said C/B because it's got a C shaped chord except the
note is B.

Intro: Am-C-C/B

Verse 1

Am C C/B
I know that I was lost
Am C C/B
And I know that it was too too hard
Am C C/B
And although it isn't much
Dm C G
I give you all I have.

Am C C/B
There's a mirror in the old place
Am C C/B
A place where we would stand
Am C C/B
And wonder at our sweet sweet selves
Dm C G Am
Smiling hand in hand
Dm C G
This wasn't what we planned.

Chorus 1

           A Bm D E
Though the night has fallen
A Bm D E
I close my eyes and imagine
 A Bm D E
A tiny glimmer
A Bm D E
Flickering on the horizon.

Verse 2

Am
It takes time to get it right
C C/B
Takes no time to get it wrong.
Am
I can't believe I didn't see
Dm C G Am
The ground was caving in
Dm C G
Oh, can we just start again?

Chorus 2
           A Bm D E
Though the night has fallen
A Bm D E
I close my eyes and imagine
 A Bm D E
A tiny glimmer
A Bm D E
Flickering on the horizon.

Bridge

Em Em
Everyday, everyday
Em C
Living my life like it's over
          Am
Like it's over and deep underground.
Em Em
Little look, little smile
Em C
Flick the switch and it's over
          Am Em
Like it's lost and can never be found.
Em C
But maybe there's a tiny glow
           Am C
That won't die and won't leave us.
C C
A lone star shining. The sun is rising.

Chorus 3/Outtro

         A Bm D E
There's a tiny glimmer
A Bm D E
Flickering on the horizon.
A Bm D E
Can you see it? Can you see it there?
A Bm D E
Can you see it? Can you see it there's
 A Bm D E
A tiny glimmer
A Bm D
Flickering on the horizon.
Am C C/B Am
It takes time to get it right

Heya, sounds great. Just at the top, explaining the chords, you missed out D, so the result was that E was D etc, lol, no biggie, just giving a heads up :)
