Great job, but believe it or not, it's easier to play in standard E tune. For the verse, start with a G5. Then drop back to 4th fret on the D string, then to the 3rd fret on the D string, and then to a C5 with the low E string fretted on the 3rd fret. See progression below. It only requires minor movement of middle and ring fingers, making this real easy to play live.
