INTRO:
Am C F F
(ah ah ah ah ah ...)
Am C F F
(oh oh oh oh oh oh oh ...)

VERSE 1:
       Am C
Little hands, shoeless feet
       F
Lonely eyes looking back at me
        Am C F
Will we leave behind the innocent too brief
         Am C
On their own, on the run
           F
When their lives have only begun
Am C F
These could be our daughters and our sons

Pre-chorus 1:
G
And just like a drum I can hear their hearts beating
Am F
I know my God won't let them be defeated
Dm F G
Every child has a dream to belong and be loved

C
Boys become kings, girls will be queens
F
Wrapped in Your majesty
        Am C F
When we love, when we love the least of these (woh woh oh oh oh oh ...)
C
Then they will be brave and free
           F
Shout Your name in victory
        Am C F
When we love, when we love the least of these
                               Am
When we love the least of these

         C F

Break our hearts once again
        F
Help us to remember when
        Am C F
We were only children hoping for a friend, won't you look around

Pre-chorus 2:
G
These are the lives that the world has forgotten
Am F G
Waiting for doors of our hearts and our homes to open

Repeat chorus

This is a really good chord sheet! The only thing wrong is everywhere there is an Am is actually where the C should be. No Am chords in the chorus at all.

C F
When we love, when we love the least of these

Although the Am chord sounds good when playing solo, I agree that in the original recording, there is no Am in the chorus. It goes straight to the C chord.
