this tab doesn't sound right at all. all the guitars and vocals are messed up.

The Beatles likely recorded this at a slower speed (probably at 116 BPM in D). They used varispeed for guitar and piano on a number of songs in this period. If you slow down the recording as I did you can hear how ragged the playing really is. I doubt the two guitars were recorded on the same take. Play slower with VLC or Transcribe to hear for yourself. I agree the audio playback engine sounds lousy but the notes are all good. Try your own and submit it for me to hear.
