For YEARS I've been trying to find the secret to playing this song.
I couldn't find a way to make it sound right. Recently I've learned that the secret is IT"S PLAYED IN E! It sounds so right now.

So, I made this Guitar Pro tab in the key of E because I believe the Beatles originally recorded it in E and the tapes were slightly sped up for some reason resulting in the song sounding a half-step higher as if in the key of F. There are some YouTube videos you can find that support this.

Playing the song in E definitely makes sense and feels right because you can make use of open E7, A7 and G chords. The use of the open D and G strings on the E7 and A7 provides the elusive "snap" that has always been missing from the sound when I've played this in F.
