Artist: Bert Jansch
Track title: Reynardine
Album: Rosemary Lane
Tuning: DADGBE (dropped D)

A Bert Jansch classic. There's some free time noodling at the start of the track which was a
bit long winded to tab but it's pretty easy to figure out; besides which you'll probably want
to put your own noodling in there instead. I think Bert detunes his guitar a half step on this
track, it certianly makes the bends a bit easier anyway. He makes those bent notes warble, too,
which I haven't represented here - as usual you'll need to work with the recording to get it
exact. I think Bert used to sometimes literally lift the strings away from the fretboard with
his right hand fingers and let them slap down to get that hard percussive sound he's noted for.
This tune is in 4/4 but watch out for the odd bar of 6; I've added beat asterisks to these bars
as a guide. He basically plays the same pattern from verse to verse and the instrumental break.
There is also an ending which again is a little freer in time and easy to figure out if you
want to include it. I haven't tabbed it here - maybe at a later date!

Rhythm: 4/4 with the odd bar of 6/4
