This is Elvis Presley. Not Bill Monroe. Why does everyone on these sites keep posting the Elvis version? I need to find someone who knows music.
Bill Monroe is the original singer of this song, came out in 1946, when Elvis was only 11 years old, he didn't start his career til 1954, he did indeed make a good remake, but bill Monroe is in fact the original, he wrote this song about his home state of Kentucky and it is now the the official song of Kentucky
