ELECTRIC: Em C7 Em C7

        Em
Well we all have a face
        Am Em
That we hide away forever
       Am C7
And we take them out and show ourselves
     D B7
When everyone has gone
         Em
Some are satin some are steel
         Am Em
Some are silk and some are leather
            Am D
They're the faces of the stranger
       Bm Em C7 Em C7
But we love to try them on

        Em
Well we all fall in love
       Am Em
But we disregard the danger
          Am C7
Though we share so many secrets
          D B7
There are some we never tell
         Em
Why were you so surprised
         Am Em
That you never saw the stranger
        Am D
Did you ever let your lover see
    Bm Em
The stranger in yourself?

Bm* Bb#5 D*
Don't be afraid to try again
D7 Bm* Bb D* D D7
Everyone goes south every now and then, oh oh
Bm* Bb#5 D*
You've done it, why can't someone else?
D7 Bm* Bb#5 D Bm
You should know by now you've been there yourself

       Em
Once I used to believe
      Am Em
I was such a great romancer
       Am C7
Then I came home to a woman
       D B7
That I could not recognize
       Em
When I pressed her for a reason
      Am Em
She refused to even answer
       Am D
It was then I felt the stranger
        Bm Em C7 Em C7
Kick me right between the eyes

        Em
Well we all fall in love
       Am Em
But we disregard the danger
          Am C7
Though we share so many secrets
          D B7
There are some we never tell
         Em
Why were you so surprised
         Am Em
That you never saw the stranger
        Am D
Did you ever let your lover see

The stranger in yourself?

        Em
You may never understand
        Am Em
How the stranger is inspired
       Am C7
But he isn't always evil
       D B7
And he is not always wrong
           Em
Though you drown in good intentions
         Am Em
You will never quench the fire
            Am D
You'll give in to your desire

I'm not sure about some of the chords, especially in the chorus. Also, #5 is known as an augmented (e.g., Bb#5 is Bb+).

Nice job!
But what about the chords with an asterisk? Does that imply a special voicing?

A very good question, I can't honestly remember..I must have forgot to write what they mean when I uploaded the tab. I'll try and find my original copy and if not I'll just remove them- cheers for the rating :)
