Tuning: standard

As with most Keys songs, Dan plays this with a lot of open strings in open positions so
his sound is large.  He also likes to play on the lower strings to get that bass-y feel.
 So let those open strings play and hold the root chords of A and E as much as possible. 
 I think this is pretty close.

When he sings I believe he simplifies the hand positions a bit!  He hits that 7th fret E
string (C note) with his pinkie with a slight bend.
