The first version posted was great. Here is the whole song with lyrics.
Standard tuning; Capo on 3rd fret. Updated minor issues with spelling and
chords. Still not perfect but enjoy! There is another way to play with capo
on 4th fret but I don't know the chords. This one is pretty easy; just add
soul! The "hey yo hey yo hey yo hey yo" section was replaced with an
improvised solo here but add back in if you prefer.

Chords used:

Em 022000
Am7 X02010
C X32010
B7 X21202 sometimes I leave off the high e

** - follow with "bag it up girl" both times on chorus
* - follow with "bag it up girl" only first time through chorus

Em, Am7, C, B7 just feel this part out, I like to play it about 2-4
times depending if using a looper and background, or more to add more layers

She's got class and style
street knowledge by the pound.
Baby never act wild
very low key on the profile.
Catching villians is you no
So let me tell you how it goes.
Curves the words, spins the verbs
Lovers it curbs so freak what you heard

Rollin' with the phatness
you don't even know what the half is
You got to pay to play
just for shorty, bang bang, to look your way.
(so) I like the way you work it.
Trumped tight, all day, every day
You're blowing my mind, maybe in time
Baby I get you in my ride.

Chorus: X2
I like the way you work it
   C B7
No Diggity, I got to bag it up **
Em Am7
I like the way you work it
   C B7
No Diggity, I got to bag it up *

Solo: just make something up here for acoustic jams, have fun here!

slide into it from 2-7 fret on 5th string
use 5,7,9 frets on 4th string and 7,9 frets on 3rd
feel it out for , use hammer on/offs or bending, and try to match the verse

Chorus: X2
I like the way you work it
   C B7
No Diggity, I got to bag it up **
Em Am7

What strumming pattern do you use? All youtube clips I've seen vary massively and was hoping you might know a good one.

Lack of accuracy. Tab incomplete. Clearly wrong. Everyone, Stop giving this shit 5 stars!
I'm looking for the real Blackstreet version and I get this crap.
yeh this is the shit indie slacker version, not the real blackstreet original which is

F#m7 A2 F#m7 C#m7

on the 4th time round, for the pause, I like to go to replace the 2nd F#m7 with an A - pause - then hit the C#m7. That's just me. It seems to add a bit of flavour which is hard to get with just voice and guitar.

Blackstreet's original has a complicated strum and is hard to sing over.
Google Dom Youngman for the correct version. This one is for wanna be hipster gaylord panzies
