Great tab, and one of my favourite songs. I found another very similar tab on another site, with much simpler tuning - EAEGBe - and a very similar picking pattern; but this one is worth the tuning hassle, *****
thanks, though I stole this tab from dylanchords.com (an excellent Dylan site). With the exception of Tangled up in Blue and If You See Her, every song on Bllod on the Tracks is in Open tuning. So I think it's worth getting used to tuning your guitar to open tuning just to play the songs from that fantastic album, which I think is his best.
I think I'll try that, thanks. I noticed that you can play 'High and Dry' by Radiohead with this tuning VERY easily - the three main chords (with this EBEG#BE tuning) are played as follows: E = (000000) Asus2 = (000100) F#m11 = (022100)
Do you know any other songs that convert well with Open E tuning? (it's a bit of a bother to change tuning all the time)
