Here is the way I like to play this
brilliant song. I can not guarantee
this is the real stuff, but it's OK.

First of all, you have to tune up a
half tone the thin e string, in order
to make it sound like F.

____ CHORDS USED

       E A D G B (F)<--(tune this string to F)

C#maj7 x 3 3 1 2 0
D#* x 6 5 0 4 0 (complete name for this chord : ?)
Fsus x x 3 3 1 0
F[2] x x 3 2 1 0
F 1 3 3 2 1 0
E5 x x 3 2 0 0
Fm x 3 3 1 1 0
C7 x x 2 3 1 2 (or easier : x x x 3 1 2)

____ Intro

C#maj7 D#* C#maj7 Fsus
Fsus Fsus F[2] F

____ Verse

F C#maj7
It's not that I am different
     D#* F
It's not that you have changed
               C#maj7 D#* F
This place has done its damage, it's so hard to explain
           C#maj7 D#* F
The sky it bends my back, my crooked shape remains
         C#maj7
The gravity's much stronger
    D#* F
And nothing here has ever changed.

____ CHORUS

                    C#maj7 D#* F
And it looks like another rainy day
             C#maj7 D#* F
Sittin' here lonely by my window
            C#maj7 D#* F
Waitin' for you to come home
            C#maj7 D#* F
Waitin' for you to come home
            C#maj7 D#* Fsus
Waitin' for you to come home

____ Verse two

F C#maj7 D#* F
I never wanted anything but you alone
                 C#maj7
But I miss the place that I love,
D#* F
It's not good enough by phone
              C#maj7 D#* F
This does not feel like home my friends are far away
         C#maj7 D#7 F
I get up in the morning and I wait for you all day

____ CHORUS
                    C#maj7 D#* F
And it looks like another rainy day
             C#maj7 D#* F
Sittin' here lonely by my window
            C#maj7 D#* F
Waitin' for you to come home
            C#maj7 D#* F
Waitin' for you to come home
            C#maj7 D#* Fsus E5(maybe?)
Waitin' for you to come home
