Right this is a modified version of Peter Palmer's tab,
which sounds good to me apart from the intro, which is
just way out I think. It doesn't go low enough. So
for this song tune one whole step down. I seem to
remember her barring the 6th fret in the video, which
is what the tab I modified said, but this sounds better
to me.
Intro:
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------
-1/6-6-6-6---1/6-6-6-6---1/7-7-7-7---0-0-0-0-------
Verse:
--7-7-7-7--------------
--7-7-7-7--9-9-9-9-----
--8-8-8-8--9-9-9-9-----
--9-9-9-9--9-9-9-9-----
--9-9-9-9--7-7-7-7-----
--7-7-7-7--------------
they change this riff during the
song sometimes, with hammer ons
and pull offs instead of slides
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
---7/9/7-7/9/7-------------------
----------------7/9/7-7/9/7------
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
Chorus:
--7-7-7-7--------------------------x-x---
--7-7-7-7--8-8-8-8-----14-14-14----x-x---
--8-8-8-8--8-8-8-8-----14-14-14----x-x---
--9-9-9-9--8-8-8-8-----14-14-14----x-x---
--9-9-9-9--7-7-7-7-----12-12-12----x-x---
--7-7-7-7--------------------------x-x---
At the end of the chorus riff you hit 10
muted strokes quickly.
This is my tab, just i changed my name cos it was all messed. The tab still works, just I should have said to tune 1/2 step down instead of a full step. Thats not actually how they play it though, Kim barres the 6th fret. So I don't know what the deal is, maybe the bass is tuned down, and thats why the intro sounds like that. Or maybe I'm drunk or something.
