Eventually I'll fix this up to be less messy, and, uh, stolen.

The opening riff is played at half-speed with tremolo at 16th
notes, but sounding like 8th notes. Easier to recreate with a
delay pedal.

as the passage gets more intense, improvise heavily high up neck,
picking furiously... then break off into phased arpeggiated G chord
w/ typical lead + gibby laughin' etc...
