Hey!
Except for the chorus I'm not completely sure about the chords... I think the F#m
and the D might be right, but I have my doubts about the C#.
I also don't know what the chords at the last sentence are.
So help me if you know the right ones! :P
[C#] [F#m]
It feels like this, as I walk the streets and I stalk the leaves on
[C#]
my way home,
[F#m]
Look down at my shoes, to see how I move,
[D]
And it’s always wrong, it’s always wrong,
But I can’t go back.
I can’t go back,
[C#]
I can’t go back to her she’ll see, she’ll see the way I look, I’ve looked,
[F#m] [C#]
I’ll always look through my eyes, through my heart but not my sense,
[F#m]
I seem to lose, but not when I choose,
[D]
And it’s always wrong, it’s always wrong,
But second source, in the middle of the night,
[A]
All’s easy but not with this girl,
[D]
Joanna sits on the wall,
[A]
Smiling and laughing and asking for more,
[D]
She’s won the battle, but now comes the fear,
[C#]
It’s over; it’s over, just as I came near,
[F#m]
It feels like this, as I walk the streets and I stalk the leaves on my way
[C#]
home,
[F#m]
The house is so near, but oceans from here,
[D]
And it’s always wrong, it’s always wrong,
But summer air, when hands are a ‘tangled,
[A]
You think that you’ve won all the world.
[D]
Joanna sits on the wall,
[A]
Smiling and laughing and asking for more,
[D]
She’s won the battle, but now comes the fear,
[C#]
It’s over; it’s over, just as I came near,
[D]
But second source, in the middle of the night,
It feels like this,
[F#m]
It feels like this,
[E]
My eyes will take a tear from you,
[F#m]
My heart will take a beat, or two,
[E] [A]
My feet will take me back to you tonight, they always do,
[D]
Joanna sits on the wall,
[A]
Smiling and laughing and asking for more,
[D]
She’s won the battle, but now comes the fear,
It’s over; it’s over, just as I came near,
[??] [??] [??] [??] [??] [??] [F#m]
Your eyes aren’t blue, but I still see seas within....
its f#m not fm
it's also C#7 not C#
And when they play it, it's all up around the 10th fret. And finger-picked.
Yeah, this chord progression might be novice, but the finger-picking pattern he plays is definitely not.
I know, but I originally play piano, so I really can't hear what the fingerpicking pattern is, nor what fret they play their chords. :P But thank you!! I'll correct it when I have time!
