This tab for the studio version of Going Up the Country. Some have posted the lyrics and
for the live Woodstock version.
The song is play in Bb with a Capo on the 8th fret. I saw a video which showed Alan
strumming the chords with his thumb instead of a pick.

Strumming pattern (Capo 8th Fret)

B--3-3--3-0--3-3--3-0-|

Nice tab, just out of curiosity, why is this number one?

Hammer on on the third string on the fourth fret with the pinky every now and then and it sounds great. And on the G, mute the second string, and hammer on the third string every now and then as well. Sounds great! I also think it sounds better with an A7 instead of an A.

Great tab though! :)

Of course I mean hammer on on the fourth string, second fret, and mute the fifth string. Sorry.
