just a suggestion- it sounds cool & a little less repetitive if you play D-Em-A instead of D-G-A for the 3rd & 6th lines of the verses & choruses. (i.e. the lines 'i hate to wake you up to say goodbye,' 'already i'm so lonely i could die,' 'hold me like you'll never let me go,' 'oh babe i hate to go,' etc.) the way you have it here definitely isn't wrong- in my opinion, this just sounds the tiniest bit better. good job though!
