I haven't tabbed something in quite a while, so I decided I would tab out this
song by Chelsea Wolfe quickly. It's off her 2012 "Unknown Rooms" LP and is
beautiful in its simplicity...just like a flat land with scattered trees that is
caressed by a slow and steady breeze...
Anyways, here we go:
b=bend
Key: Bb
Intro (00:00)
Bb Gm
e|------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------|
G|------------------------------------|
D|--------3--------3--(5)----5b--3----|
A|-----5--------5---------5-----------|
E|--6--------6---------3--------------|
Verse (00:25)
I want flatlands \ repeat riff
I never cared about money and all its friends > from the
I want flatlands / intro
then:
Bb
e|---------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------|
D|--------8--------7---------5--------3--|
A|-----5--------5---------5--------5-----|
E|--6--------6---------3--------3--------|
Same for:
I want flatlands
I don't want precious stones
I never cared about anything you've ever owned
I want flatlands
I want simplicity
I need your arms wrapped hard around me
I want open plains and scattered trees
I want flower fields
I want salty seas
I want flatlands soft and steady breeze
bringing scents of lined-up orchard trees
dripping heavy with pears and dancing leaves
I want flatlands
will you go there with me
when it's said in the dark and you know it's always there
when it's dead in our heart but your mind is unafraid
when it's said in the dark and you know it's never coming back
when it's there in your heart in your mind you set it free
Guitar-wise, that's it. More in more string instruments come in, mostly playing
slow melody notes to accentuate the chords forming an Ab6 and a Gmadd9.
Hope this could help you.
Everytime it says Ab actually it is a Bb. Sorry about that.
