Fell Into Your Shoes - Chevelle
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Ahrum
Email: themoogledance@hotmail.com

Tuning: Drop B (Can also be played in Drop Db, but I'm not tabbing that (By
removing the open B-string strums in the Pre-chorus.)

Intro:
There's a lot of Chevelle's slight pick sliding in the beginning here... It's
the bass string right at the bridge.

C#|----------------------|
G#|----------------------|
E |----------------------|
B |----------------------|
F#|------7--------7------|
B |--8888-8-8--888-888---| x6
Fun fact, it loops, so immediately connect the last note to the first.

Chorus:
Yes, it's constant strumming, I'm not skilled enough to be able to show how
many, but it's only a slide between two notes.

C#|-----15--\\\\\\12-----|
G#|----------------------|
E |----------------------|
B |----------------------|
F#|----------------------|
B |----------------------| x4
Constant strumming folks,

Verse:

Repeat Intro

Repeat Verse (It's like the song started all over again!)

Repeat Pre-Chorus

Repeat Intro

Solo time!
I'm not skilled enough to figure out the amount of strums per note. Sorry.
The timing is all you guys, I'll give you the notes to figure it though.
I will say that after it does a bend on the 5th fret and drops a string, it's
no longer constant strums. It picks back up on the last 5 notes, though.

                                                          End constant
                                                               V
C#|----15---\13---\12---\8---\5b-------/10---\8---\6-5-6-5-6-5------------|
G#|------------------------------------------------------------6--5b-5b-5-|
E |-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B |-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
F#|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B |-----------------------------------------------------------------------|

                                            resume strumming STOP!
                                                  V V

Repeat Verse

Repeat Pre-Chorus

Pre-Chorus Redux: (On 3rd Pre-Chorus, where drums slow)
Basically, remove the open strums and chords and end on 5.

                                          STRUMMING! (lightly)

Don't bend the 9th fret on the last time playing it!

Thank you for reading!

Great tab! The solo seems pretty much right. The only thing you're missing in the tab is the rhythm guitar which plays behind all those high notes in the chorus and solo, the chords are: - 8 10 10 (root on F# string) - 7 5 5 (root F# string) - 777 (root B string) -. So it's, D5 then B5 than F#5. Hope you understand what I'm saying lol.
Anyways thanks for tabbing this song out, it's a great song.
