There are two bass riffs in the whole song.

I'm 100% sure this is correct. Listen to the song for the timing. The notes below are 
and verified.

Use a pick and funk it up, he adds little dead notes here and there in the verse.

I saw them at Big Day Out this year, and I've re-adjusted the tab to how the bassist 
it live.

He's using a very bright/slightly distorted tone too.
