G Cadd9
I'm staring out into the night,
G Cadd9
Trying to hide the pain.
G Cadd9
I'm going to the place where love
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing.
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.
G
Well I'm going home,
Cadd9 Dsus4
Back to the place where I belong,
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9
And where your love has always been enough for me.
G Dsus4
I'm not running from.
Cadd9 Dsus4
No, I think you got me all wrong.
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9
But these places and these faces are getting old,
G Cadd9
So I'm going home.
G Cadd9
Well I'm going home.
G Cadd9 G
The miles are getting longer, it seems,
Cadd9
The closer I get to you.
G Cadd9
I've not always been the best man or friend for you.
Em7
But your love, it makes true.
Dsus4 Cadd9
And I don't know why.
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9
You always seem to give me another try.
G
Well I'm going home,
Cadd9 Dsus4
Back to the place where I belong,
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9
And where your love has always been enough for me.
G Dsus4

Dsus4 Cadd9
Be careful what you wish for,
Em7
'Cause you just might get it all.
Dsus4 Cadd9
You just might get it all,
Dsys4
And then some you don't want.
Cadd9
Be careful what you wish for,
Em7
'Cause you just might get it all.
Dsus4 Cadd9
You just might get it all, yeah.
Em7 Dsus4 Cadd9

I'm going home.
This was my first tab so please let me know what you think.
I've seen versions where they play the Em as x22033 and a D version as xx0233 which makes it pretty easy to play since you keep 2 fingers on the 33 the whole song. Good job.
Good job, I didn't think you could play this song in standard tunning but you obviously can. Great job! And xx0233 is called Dsus4. Anyways 5*!
yeah, like Pharm stated, its much easier as well a better sound IMO if you play the Em7 and a Dsus4 as opposed to the Em and the Dmaj chords, although I admit this one sounds good as well...overall, good job on it 5*s man
