Pretty close to the chuch jackson original, might work for the ELvis version
Ronnie Milsap does it in a different key (F) with slight variation of the changes

Excellent chords - I used them with a guitar tuned to D Standard to play along with the Ronnie Milsap cover, in F as you said, and it sounds great, though I'm wondering if Milsap kept he C#dim in there. It doesn't sound quite right to me played along side it, so I'll see what they're actually doing there. Obviously that's no mistake on your part, as you have the Chuck Jackson version's chords here.

Excellent job. 5 stars.

Well tabbed! When I played along to Chuck Jackson's version, however, I noticed that your "C (add G)" is actually a C minor chord. And some of the chords don't use the root as their foundation. When this is the case, I wrote e.g.: "G/D" indicating that this is a G major chord using a D as its root. Played like that the tension of the progression comes across like in the orignal.

I think this would be very close:

Intro
| G | G | G | G | Em | G |

Str 1
| G | G | Bm | Bm |
| C | C | C | C#dim7 |
| G/D | B7/D# | Em | Cm |
| G/D | G/D | Am/D | Am/D |

Str 2
| G | G | Bm | Bm |
| C | C | C | C#dim7 |
| G/D | B7/D# | Em | Cm |
| G/D | G/D | Am/D | Am/D |

Solo + short vocal part
| G | G | Bm | Bm |
| C | C | C | C#dim7 |
| G/D | B7/D# | Em | Cm |
| G/D | Am/D | G | G |

Middle 8
| Em | Em | Bm | C D|
| G | Bm | Em | Bm |
| Em | D | C | C/D |

Str 3
| G | G | Bm | Bm |
| C | C | C | C#dim7 |
| G/D | B7/D# | Em | Cm |
| G/D | G/D | Am/D | Am/D |

Outro
| G | G | Em | G |
| G | G | Em | G |
(fade)

What do you think?

I thought it was O.K. (some want-wit gave it 3 stars) but
I gave it five. Nice job. KK.
