Well, I've seen a couple of versions of this, and personally,
they're not all quite right, so I looked up all the videos I could
and got this. :]. I hope you enjoy.
Note: The chord names take up too much room,
So when it says "Cmaj7-Am9" or "G6-F#11b9" Keep doing the rhythm in the intro
until the next chord change.

Cmaj7-Am9 G6-F#11b9
A coma might feel better than this,
Cmaj7-Am9 G6-F#11b9
attempting to discover where to begin.
Cmaj7-Am9
You're weighed down, you're full of something.
G6-F#11b9
Of sickness, and desertion.
Cmaj7-Am9
You're weighed down, you're full of something,
G6-F#11b9
you're underneath it all.
Em G6
So say goodbye to love,
Em11 Cmaj7
and hold your head up high.
Em G6
There's no need to rush
Em11 Cmaj7
we're all just waiting, waiting to die.
(Slide the Em11 down to Cmaj7, listen to the track to get the timing)
Cmaj7-Am9 G6-F#11b9
Hoping a better place is all I need,
Cmaj7-Am9 G6-F#11b9
with moments of innocence and mystery.
Cmaj7-Am9
Oh, it's the little things you miss.
G6-F#11b9
Like waking up all alone.
Cmaj7-Am9
Oh, it's the little things you miss,
G6
when you're underneath it all.
Em G6
So say goodbye to love,
Em11 Cmaj7
and hold your head up high.
Em G6
There's no need to rush
Em11 Cmaj7
we're all just waiting, waiting to die.
Em11 Cmaj7
All your friends seem like enemies
Em G6
when you're broken down and empty. Oooh.
Em11 Cmaj7
All your friends seem like enemies
Em G6
when you're broken down and empty. Oooh.
Em(let ring) G6(let ring)
So say goodbye to love,
Em11(let ring) Cmaj7(let ring
and hold your head up high.
Em G6
There's no need to rush
Em11 Cmaj7
we're all just waiting, waiting to die.
For the outro, just strum the chords from the chorus, and sing the "ohh"'s that he
does. End on Cmaj7. :].
I hope it's not too hard to comprehend, and that it's as correct to everybody else as I see it.
Up top, where I have the chord names and their formations, on G6, it's not [3,3,0,0,0,0]
It's [3,2,0,0,0,0]
Whoops! :P.
Great job, man. This is really accurate, I have been watching videos of him do it live and this seems perfect. I would just say that to make the timings a little easier for people on the verses you should put the chords above the words where it changes. But yeah, excellent.
Sorry. Just saw that you explained that. Woops...
