Tuning: Drop D (D A D G B E)

Great song. The opening riff really grabs your attention. Also, I'm not sure which
is the lead and which is the rhythm for Phase II or III, so take your pick which to
play. Enjoy!

LYRICS AND RIFF PLACEMENT

[INTRO]
[INTRO W/ LEAD] X2
[PHASE I W/ LEAD] X4
Good morning sunshine awake when the sun hits the sky
Look up the sounds that surround the day you died
She weeps for me outside, a hole in the ground
And there's one way thinking you might get the upper hand
[FILL 1]
[INTRO W/ LEAD] X4
Dear Newo Ikkin how's Apollo been treating you?
Has he been a good boy since the day I left?
Give him my love and a sweet kiss for his head
'Cause I won't be coming home when you get this I'll be dead
[FILL 1] X2
Norris and Larry, Gloria to nowhere
[PHASE II W/ LEAD] X4
Sir I think you'd better take my hand
And pray we make this one out alive
Captain, we've lost all systems' control
Then son, I'll see you in my sleep
[PHASE II] X4
[PHASE III W/ LEAD] X4
Is it all you've shared with them that makes us paranoid?
Is it the dream that one day you might be something your own?
Is it all you've shared with them that makes us paranoid?
Is it the dreams that make us real?
[PHASE III LEAD] X2
[PHASE IV PT. 1]
I'll miss you and wait for you when you come
[PHASE IV PT. 2 W/ LEAD]
Wrong way, right way, bad luck what God has been giving me
[PHASE IV PT. 1 W/ LEAD]
I'll miss you and wait for you when you come
[PHASE IV PT. 2 W/ LEAD]
Wrong way, right way, bad luck you've gotta be kidding me
[FILL 2]
[PHASE V PT. 1]
I've spent so long sitting down here
[PHASE V PT. 2 W/ LEAD] X2
Paper cut my heart in half and discard the evidence
When it's yours come send me the left half
[PHASE V PT. 1]
Doused in kerosene and torched, blazed blood bath
[PHASE V PT. 2 W/ LEAD] X4
When boy sets fire God knows you've lost at a cost that has no price
When you've purchased guilt stand at attention and make sure you know
Your lines and yourself, you'd say I'll be
[PHASE V PT. 1]
Home alone again waiting
[PHASE VI LEAD]
[PHASE VI W/ LEAD]
[PHASE VI]
Wait for me all right?
I'm still a boy down there if you want to promise me that
[PHASE VI W/ LEAD] X4
Wait for me all right?
I'm still a boy down there if you want to promise me that
(Wait) Wait for me all right?
I'm still a boy (where's Wednesday?)
Down there (where's Wednesday?)
If you want to promise me that

Since there are far to many parts to each Coheed and Cambria song to call them chorus, verse, etc, I decided to name them numbered phases.
