This is exactly what Chris Martin plays on this YouTube-Video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkMGf2_NKvs&feature=related

Tune up the high E-string to F, then play:
   D Bb F Fsus C/G
F--0----0----0----0----x---|
B-10----6----1----1----8---|
G-10----7----2----0----8---|
D-12----8----3----3----10--|
A-12----8----3----3----10--|
E--x----x----x----x----x---|

Listen to the song in the Video to find out the strumming-pattern, it's very easy.

The tuning is right and the tab quite accurate, except that Ricky doesn't mute the 6th string but instead he holds it with his thumb! So the d for example is : --0-- etc.
--10--
--10--
--12--
--12--
--10-- (thumb)
I found it quite hard to play it this way with my Ovation but this is what mr. Martin actually plays. I've seen him in other videos and he very often plays the chords this way instead of a barre chord. In this version os "The scientists" he seems to use a smaller acoustic guitar which makes it a little easier to play.. ;) Cheers from Greece!

d is fine, as very often lower case us used for minor chords and uppercase for major;-)
There should be a correction to the C, which should be
--x--
--8--
--9--
--10--
--10--
--x--

I want to post or [tab]
