It might just be because I'm playing it on an acoustic (which is why I don't consider this a correction), but riff 1 sounds better to me like this:
Just one man's opinion. I think the last chord there resonates better, at least on an acoustic, with the a string left open, and the second chord just doesn't sound right to me played on d g & b.
