I've seen a couple of other chord transcriptions for this song that make it is
more complicated than it is. I think Robert Smith uses a 12-string acoustic but
its sounds alright on a normal 6-string. The chords for this song are very simple

This song isn't tuned in standard. It can be if you play with a capo on the first fret, but other than that the song is tuned a half step up.
