like this a lot. theres a variation of E at the end of certain parts of the verses where it changes from 022100 to 022200 (maybe its an Eadd9, not exactly sure) Beautiful song.

im not sure about the higher bridge that the girl sings, im pretty sure its not F#, if it is it'd at least be F#m...

The F# is correct. In fact you can think of it as a key change, as thereafter the song is all played a tone higher (check the tab, it's right). Also, Rice sometimes plays the E chord like: 0-7-9-9-0-0 with 0-7-9-8-0-0 used as a transition between verses (you'll hear what I mean when you play it.)
