This is from Dashboard Confessional's new album, Dusk and Summer.

Note: I recieved a couple of comments about how this would be easier to play when tuned
step down (I was too lazy to change the tuning the first time), so I've updated the tab accordingly.

Tuning: Eb Ab C# F# Bb Eb.

[Intro]
G-Am-Em-D

[Verse 1]
 G Am
Hand out the window
            Em
Floatin' on air
                    D
Just a flip of the wrist
                     G Am-Em-D
I'd be wavin' you goodbye
 G Am
Drive past the lifeguard stand
 Em D G Am-Em-D
Where I sit around waiting for you to remember
 C G
As I drive

[Chorus]
 G Am C
How the girls could turn to ghosts before your eyes
         Em D Bb C
And the very dreams that led to them are keeping them from dying
 G Am C
And how the grace with which she walked into your life
      Em D
Will stay with you in your steps
      Bb C
And pace with you a while
 Bb C G Am-Em
So long, so long
     D G Am-Em-D-G
So long, so long

[Verse 2]
 G Am Em
The speaker in this door is blown
     D G
So nothing sounds quite right
                  Am Em D G
Taking my time, taking this drive, waving this town goodbye
                  Am Em D
And I drive this ocean road
       G
And remember
                   Am Em
The small of your back, nape of your neck, I remember everything
 D C
as I drive
                   G
Waving this town goodbye

[Chorus]
 G Am C
How the girls could turn to ghosts before your eyes
         Em D Bb C
And the very dreams that led to them are keeping them from dying
 G Am C
And how the grace with which she walked into your life
      Em D
Will stay with you in your steps
      Bb C
And pace with you a while
 Bb C Bb C Bb
       G Am-Em
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long, so long
     D G
So long, so long
                  Am Em D
  Am-Em
Taking my time, taking this drive, waving this town goodbye
     D G Am-Em
So long, so long
     D C
So long, so long

[Bridge]
 C
And I will leave under the cover
 C
Of summer's kiss upon the sky
 C
Like the storm face of your lover
 C
Just before she says goodbye
 C
I was certain that the season could be held between my arms
 C
But just as summer's hold is fleeting
 C G Am-Em-D
I was here and now I'm gone

(Repeat G-Am-Em-D for the rest of the song; end on G)
