Capo on 1st

There's one chord pattern that persists throughout the song (D-A-Em-G), and it's very easy.

First Verse

D A Em G
Friday night I'm going nowhere--all the lights are changing green to red
D A Em G
Turning over TV stations, situations running through my head
D A Em G
Well looking back through time you know it's clear that I've been blind I've been a fool
D A Em G
To open up my heart to all that jealousy, that bitterness, that ridicule

Second Verse

Saturday I'm running wild and all the lights are changing red to green
Moving through the crowd I'm pushing chemicals all rushing through my bloodstream
Only wish that you were here you know I'm seeing it so clear I've been afraid
To show you how I really feel admit to some of those bad mistakes I've made

Chorus

D A Em G
If you want it come and get it (for) crying out loud
D A Em G
The love that I was giving you was never in doubt
D A Em G
Let go your heart let go your head and feel it now
D A Em G
Let go your heart let go your head and feel it now
D A Em G
Babylon, Babylon
D A Em G
Babylon

Sunday all the lights of London shining--sky is fading red to blue
I'm kicking through the autumn leaves and wondering where it is you might be going to
Turning back for home--you know I'm feeling so alone I can't believe
Climbing on the stair, I turn around to see you smiling there in front of me

Chorus 2

D A Em G
If you want it come and get it (for) crying out loud
D A Em G
The love that I was giving you was never in doubt
D A Em G
Let go your heart let go your head and feel it now
D A Em G
Let go your heart let go your head and feel it now
D A Em G
Let go your heart let go your head and feel it now
D A Em G
Let go your heart let go your head and feel it now
D A Em G
Babylon, Babylon
D A Em G
Babylon, Babylon
D A Em G (end on D)
Babylon, Ah ha ha

The verse is a totally different chord pattern to the chorus, version 1 has it right

Yes this is incorrect and doesn't sound good at all. The chorus will do but you've added an A and Em in the verse that he never plays. Good try though.

Change the G to an A in the chorus and it sounds fine
