This is a beautiful song and very easy to play...only 2 chords throughout. D to G and back to D.
D G
When we arrive, Sons & Daughters
D G
We'll make our homes on the water
D G
We'll build our walls aluminum
D G
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon now
It's good, but you missed most of the lyrics:
When we arrive
Sons and daughters
We'll make our homes on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon now
These currents pull us
Across the border
Steady your boats, arms to shoulder
Until tides are pulled, hold our grounds
Making this cold harbor now home
Take up your arms
Sons and daughters
We will arise from the bunkers
By land, by sea, by dirigible
We'll leave our tracks untraceable now
When arrive
Sons and daughters
We'll make our lives on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon
whats the strum pattern?
not bad. sounds best with chords if its just you and an acoustic. One minor detail. Right before switching chords open up the high e string on each chord. that would be a Dsus2 and a G6 played quickly right before the chord changes.
