I felt a slip into a watery grave
Am C E 2x
(back vocals) ooh la ladi dadi da orsmth.
Am C
My girl, linen and curls
E
Lips parting like a flag all unfurled
Am C
She's grand the bend of her hand
E
Digging deep into the sweep of the sand
Am C E 2x
(back vocals) ooh la ladi dadi da orsmth.
chorus:
G Am G Am
Summer arrives with a length of lights
G Am F
Summer blows away
C G Am C E
And quietly gets swallowed by a wave
Am C E
It gets swallowed by a wave
Waylay the din of the day
Boats bobbing in the blue of the bay
In deep far beneath all the dead sailors
Slowly slipping to sleep
My girl, linen and curls
Lips parting like a flag all unfurled
She's grand the bend of her hand
Digging deep into the sweep of the sand
Summer arrives with a length of lights
Summer blows away
And quietly gets swallowed by a wave
It gets swallowed by a wave...
this is really well done
i would just probably change the verses a little by making them
Am- C -Em -Em/G
all the way through
its just what i got from following the bass part in the song
and it seems to work nicely.
have to agree with massromantic there, but good job :)
YAY for Jenny!
