This is from Demon Hunters fifth album, "The World is a Thorn." I tweaked
and simplified it a little to make it nicer to play on acoustic guitar. The
chords all sound fine with the album as far as I could hear when played
w/CAPO 2 (to match the DVD acoustic version, CAPO 3). Enjoy!

Intro:
Em Bm D Am
Em Bm D G D

Verse 1:
Em G Am
I was the light I was the quiet heart
Em G A2
I was the place we used to dwell
Em G Am
And when the cold would tear your life apart
Em G A2
I was the warmth that you had felt

Prechorus:
C D A2 G Bm
What have I become? Thoughts like shadows swelling through my mind...
C D A2 G Am
What have I become? Something else inside...

Chorus 1:
           Em Bm D Am
Is driving nails into my soul; angels from my door
        Em Bm D G D C
Driving nails into my soul; something insi-ide...

Verse 2:
Em G Am
I was the blood inside your broken heart
Em G A2
I was the stone that you had held

Prechorus:
C D A2 G Bm
What have I become? Thoughts like shadows swelling through my mind...
C D A2 G Am
What have I become? Something else inside...

Chorus 2:
           Em Bm D Am
Is driving nails into my soul; angels from my door
        Em Bm D G
Driving nails into my soul; something else inside
  (D) Em Bm D Am
Is driving nails into my soul; angels from my door
        Em Bm D G D
Driving nails into my soul; something insi-ide...

Em Bm Am Em

Bridge:
    Em Bm Am Em
I close my eyes, search for You
    G Am A2
Retracing every ste-ep...

Chorus 3:
            Em Bm D Am
Its driving nails into my soul; angels from my door
        Em Bm D G
Driving nails into my soul; something inside
  (D) Em Bm D Am
Is driving nails into my soul; angels from my door
        Em Bm D G D C Em
Driving nails into my soul; something insi-ide...

dude this is great. and 1 thing only. where you have a Bm chord i think it also sounds okay to my ear if you use a Bm shape(barre chord) and take your middle finger off. but thats just me. great tab. im hoping to play this in my youth group soon.
