Written by: Devendra Banhart Album: Rejoicing in the Hands
The whole song is fingerpicked but I can't figure it out so just pick the
chords to something that sounds similar, it does sounds as if it's played
on the bass notes though. Its a really good song, especially played acoustic.
Standard Tuning - Acoustic
Intro - Am for a few bars
Am C
Such a sight to behold
Am C
When you got small words to mold
G Am
And you can make 'em your own
F
Still love it would be much better
G
Love it would be much better
Am G
I'm to-------old
Am C
It's like golden corn
Am C
And I love its golden glow
Am C
It's the little head inside your little hold
G Am
And out spring some sparkling thoughts
F
Still love it would be much better
G
Love it would be much better
F
Love it would be much better
G Am, G
Love it would be much better
Am C
It's like finding home
Am C
In an old folk song
Am C
That you've never ever heard
Am C
Still you know every word
G Am
And for sure you can sing along
F
But love it would be much better
G
Love it would be much better
F
Love it would be much better
G
Love it would be much better
Am
I know, I know
End on Am Strum
The chords are spot on, but there is an "I hope" on the second Am G after the 2nd round of "Love it would be much better".
A pretty simple picking pattern makes it sound fairly accurate.
Fantastic song, thanks for the tab.
