This is a really nice Dido song, the chords are made from the 2001 acoustic performance
TOTP.
To make the chord F#madd9-[24622x] easier I suggest to tune your guitar down one
to Eb, and put a capo on the first fret, so everything moves 1 fret forward, so the
is
[35733x] and sounds the same.
Note that G major is not [320003] but [320033] so it's easier to move to the
chord.

I think the F#madd9 is easy enough as it is. If you have trouble the same chord is used in 'Every breath you take' by The Police. If you practice the rhythm pattern for that you should soon be able to play it.
Sorry to sound patronising but my comment is directed at the beginners. When i first started i would of had a heart attack at that chord.
