Capo 4th Fret
Intro: (D) (D) (D) (D) (D) (G) (A) (G) (D)
(D) Pair of boots and a (G) sack of clothes
(A) Free and easy, down the (G) road I (D) go
Hangin' memories on the (G) high line poles
(A) Free and easy, down the (G) road I (D) go
(A) Free and easy, down the (G) road I (D) go
Ragweed's rockin' on the radio
Free and easy, down the road I go
So I keep rollin' like an old banjo
Free and easy, down the road I go
Got the (G) sun (D) shinin' (G) on me like a (D) big spot(A)light
So I (G) know (D) everyth(G)ing is gonna (D) be all (A) right
Ain't no tellin' where the wind might blow
Free and easy, down the road I go
Livin' life like a Sunday stroll
Free and easy, down the road I go
Free and easy, down the road I go
If you (G) on(D)ly (G) get to go ar(D)ound one (A) time
I'm gonna (G) sit (D) back and (G) try to en(D)joy the (A) ride
I could make a million or wind up broke
Free and easy, down the road I go
Can't take it with you when you go
Free and easy, down the road I go
Someday I know it's gonna take me home
Free and easy, down the road I go
Free and easy, down the road I go
This tab isn't too bad, but how do the versus go? Do they follow a pattern already there in the intro b/c that kinda works...? (kinda thinkin' aloud there.)
And I'm totally guessing here, but I think the part between the chorus and the versus might go something like G G A A G A G D (If you listen to the song you'll know what I'm talking about...)
I play the part between the chorus and verse as C G D (x 2). I'm 99% sure that's right.
Also, I think the chorus part should be G D C G A (x 2). Good tab though, fun song to play for sure
