e ---------------------------------------------------|
B ---------------------------------------------------|
G ---------------------------------------------------|
D -------------------------------------2-------------|
A ---4---6------2--4--0-------4--6---------6--4-------|
E -----------0----------------------0----------------|

       C#m E Aadd9
I must look just like a fool
C#m E Aadd9
Here in the middle of the road
C#m E Aadd9
Standin there in your rearview
C#m E Aadd9
And gettin soaked to the bone
C#m E Aadd9
This land is flat, as it is mean
C#m E Aadd9
A man can see for a hundred miles
Aadd9 B7 D#m
So I’m still prayin I might see
           C#m E Aadd9
the glow of brake light

E C#m
But your wheels just turned down the road ahead
Aadd9 B7
If it hurts at all you ain’t showed it yet
E C#m
I keep lookin for the slightest sign
Aadd9 B7
That you might miss what you left behind
D#m G#m Aadd9
I know there’s nothin stopping you now

But I’d settle for a slow down

 C#m E Aadd9
I held on longer than I should've
   C#m E Aadd9
Believin’ you might change your mind
Aadd9 B7 D#m
And those bright lights of Hollywood,
       C#m E Aadd9
Would fade in time

E C#m
But your wheels just turned down the road ahead
Aadd9 B7
If it hurts at all you ain’t showed it yet
E C#m
I keep lookin for the slightest sign
Aadd9 B7
That you might miss what you left behind
D#m G#m Aadd9
I know there’s nothin stopping you now
         C#m E Aadd9
But I’d settle for a slow down

E C#m
But your wheels just turned down the road ahead
Aadd9 B7
If it hurts at all you ain’t showed it yet
E C#m
You’re just a tiny dot on that horizon line
Aadd9
C’mon just tap those brakes
B7
Baby, just one time
D#m G#m Aadd9
I know there’s nothin stopping you now
     D#m G#m Aadd9
I’m not asking you to turn back around
     C#m E Aadd9
I’d settle for a slow down
    C#m E Aadd9
C’mon just slow down

The Ebm in this song should be an F#m, otherwise, it's very good :)
