And The Ladies Were The Rest Of The Night - The Disco Biscuits
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: AcesHigh616

Tuning: E Standard

This song is almost always played inverted when performed live, but
here are the parts in the original order.

Intro:

Verse:

The key changes here from E minor to A Harmonic Minor. The verse
is usually pretty heavily improvised, but Barber always uses octaves
and generally plays these notes before the words come in. Make
sure to use a lot of mutes and wah to make it real funky.

e|--------------|-----------------|----------------|----------------|
B|10--10--13-12-|13--12-10--13-12-|13--12-10-10-12-|9----10-13------|

A|--------------|-----------------|----------------|----------------|
E|--------------|-----------------|----------------|----------------|

It changes up a little bit when the vocals come in:

e|-------------|-------------|------------|------------|

G|-------------|-------------|------------|------------| x 2

E|-------------|-------------|------------|------------|

e|-------------|-------------|------------|------------|
B|10--10--8-12-|10--10-8-12--|10--10-8-12-| 13---------|

D|7---7---5-9--|7---7--5-9---|7---7--5-9--| 10---------| x 4
A|-------------|-------------|------------|------------|
E|-------------|-------------|------------|------------|

Chorus:

Back to E minor for this part. I'm pretty sure Barber just uses
powerchords here, however if you want you can throw in the 3rd as well.
Sometimes it's just slight overdrive, but sometimes when they want to
make the chorus real heavy Barber will use more distortion and some palm muting.
