I just sat down and figured out these tabs and I'm pretty sure they're right on.

I don't think this song is in drop D.Most of the new album is in drop c or drop c#.This song though is drop c tuning.

I have trouble with the rhythm, but the basic notes are clearly (In Eb, bottom two strings only):

Ab|-7----5-0-1-----7----5-0-1-----|
Eb|------------2-4------------2-2-|

Transpose to whatever scale you think he's on, but those are the notes. Here would be drop-C, bottom two strings:

G|-8----6-1-2-----8----6-1-2-----|
C|------------5-7------------5-5-|
