D A
Jennifer Juniper lives upon the hill,
D A
Jennifer Juniper, sitting very still.
D A
Is she sleeping, I don't think so.

Is she breathing, Yes, very low.
G A D
Whatcha doing, Jennifer my love.

D A
Jennifer Juniper, rides a dappled mare,
D A
Jennifer Juniper, lilacs in her hair.
D A
Is she dreaming, Yes I think so.
D A
Is she pretty, Yes ever so.
G A D
Whatcha doing, Jennifer my love

            G D

At "lately" in the song, it's an Em chord-- not G. And, I think that we have to stay on the "G" chord for "like to somehow try and tell you."

I'd say A for "like to somehow try and tell" A7 for "you"
