Tune to Drop D

3/4 time

Phrase A - This phrase will take some practicing, and
Gavin (at least when I saw them play it live) plays it
for most of the song...

Phrase B - Simple enough. Listen for changes. Triplets
too hard to tab are indicated with (). Listen for the
timing.

Phrase C - Mark's trademark picking. I chose to keep
everything on the same string so I could just focus on
getting the picking right the whole time. Listen for
nuances in the changes.

Phrase F - Bridge. Tougher, but not impossible. Pick
the D and G strings (listen for timing) to get Mark's
riff right. Slide between chords on the D string and
hit the G string a split second later and you'll be
just about there.

actually is. Please e-mail me if you figure it out!

TIP: Play it with two guitars. Obviously, the album is
recorded in layers, so unless you have a loop machine
or three guitarists, you'll have a hard time playing
it the same way. Grab a friend and have them learn the
tab and you can get a really nice sound out of it!

G1: A A B A E F -
G2: - B C D D F A

Play with three for the best sound. I arranged this so
you can get good results with guitarists of varying
abilities. G1 is the most technical and G2 is the
easiest. G3 is the Goldilocks part: fun, but a little
technical, too.

G1: A A A A E F <-- take a break and fill with chords!
G2: B B B B F -
G3: C D D F A

Best of luck. Please let me know what you think!
