All Of The Stars - Ed Sheeran
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've watched a few live versions and this is how he actually plays it.
As seen in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhxiFy0A_3Q

Capo on the 2nd fret, the whole song is based on a C#9 barre chord, the chords are:

 | F# | C# | A# | G# |
E| 0 | x | 4 | 2 |
A| x | 2 | x | x |
D| 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
G| 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
B| x | x | x | x |
E| x | x | x | x |

My interpretation of the picking pattern:
He starts every beat by picking the bass note of the chord twice then it goes like this:

C E-----------------
A B-----------------
P G--------4-----4--
O D----------4------
  A-----------------
2 E---0-0------0----

He also plays it like this:

C E-----------------
A B-----------------
P G--------4-----4--
O D-----4----4------
  A-----------------
2 E---0-------0-----

The chord used for the example was the F#, it goes the same for every other chord in the song.
There's also a little riff/run every second line of the verse (and I'm staring at the moon etc)

C E-------------------------
A B-------------------------
P G-------4------4-------4--
O D-------------------------
  A-------------------------
2 E---4-4----2-2----0-0-----

After that it goes back to the normal picking pattern.

Lyrics copied from max.wynne's version of this tab
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

F# C#
It's just another night
         A#m G# F#
and I'm staring at the moon
C# G#
I saw a shooting star and thought of you

F# C#
I sang a lullaby
         A#m G# F# C#
By the waterside and knew
                     G#
if you were here I'd sing to you

F# C#
You're on the other side
       A#m G# F# C#
as the skyline splits in two
                 G#
miles away from seeing you

F# C#
But I can see the stars
   A#m G# F#
from America
  C# G#
I wondered do you see them too

              C#
So open your eyes and see
              G#
the way our horizons meet
                 A#m
and all of the lights will lead
         F#
into the night with me
                  C#
And I know these scars will bleed
                  G#
But both of our hearts believe
                A#m F# C# G#
All of these stars will die as one

F# C#
I can hear your heart
      A#m G# F#
on the radio
     C# G#
They're playing chasing cars and I thought of us
F# C#
Back to the time
        A#m G# F# C#
you were lying next to me
                    G#
I looked across and fell in love

F# C#
You saw I took your hand
              A#m G# F# C#
Back through lamp lit streets and knew
                  G#
Everything led back to you

F# C#
So can you see the stars
     A#m G# F# C#
Over Amsterdam
                   G#
you're the song my heart is beating too

              C#
So open your eyes and see
              G#
the way our horizons meet
                 A#m
and all of the lights will lead
         F#
into the night with me
                  C#
And I know these scars will bleed
                  G#
But both of our hearts believe
                A#m F# C# G#
All of these stars will die as one

     C# A#m C#
And all you know
F# G# C#
and all
  F# C#
But I can see the stars
    A#m G# F#
from America

This is the one! Thanks for figuring out how he's really playing it as a solo guitar piece, nice job.

I added a few missing bass notes and corrected a few lyrics.

I hear the picking pattern like this:
C E------------
A B------------
P G-----4-4-4--
O D---4--------
A------------
2 E--0-0-0-0---

Or even

C E------------
A B------------
P G-----4-4-4--
O D---4--------
A------------
2 E--0-0-------

and for the G# sometimes

C E------------
A B------------
P G-----3-4-4--
O D---4--------
A------------
2 E--2-2-2-2---

For the intro he just plays the verse pattern twice
F# C#
A# G# F# C#

F# C#
A# G# F# C#

F# C#
It's just another night
