Autumn Leaves - Ed Sheeran
Tabbed by: Josh Richardson
Tuning: EABGBe (capo 3rd fret)

(Chords used)

       EADGBe
Em7: 022033
G/F#: 200033
G: 320033
Cadd9: X32033
D: XX0232
C#add9:X22033

Use this strumming pattern to match Ed's:

e|-------------|
B|------x------|
G|---x-----x---|
D|-------------|
A|-------------|
E|R------------|

The R stands for the root note (the lowest note in the chord) and the x's are the
notes that follow it.
It follows that pattern for the whole song: 'Root, G string, B string, G string'.

I think sounds better with capo on 3rd fret ;)

Personally, I like to play this song with Em7, D/F#, G (without the B string played) and then C for the verse/interlude/intro; and G, (With the B string) D/F#,Em, then C for the chorus and such. So it's like: e|---------------------------------------------------------------------- B|------3---------3--------0---------1-0-------------------------------- G|-----0-0-------2-2------0-0-------0----------------------------------- D|---------------------------------------------------------------------- A|-------------------------------3-------------------------------------- E|--0---------2--------3------------------------------------------------ e|---------------------------------------------------------------------- B|------3---------3---------0---------1-0------------------------------- G|-----0-0-------2-2-------0-0-------0---------------------------------- D|---------------------------------------------------------------------- A|--------------------------------3-------------------------------------E|--3---------2---------0----------------------------------------------- Maybe it's just personal preference?

In the album, Ed plays it with the capo on the 3rd fret. But excellent tab! :)
