Tim always improvised on adding octaves or perfect fifth's to his basslines - try it out.
At the end, when he screams "We hate you!" the song just slows donw on Verse riff, and 
you end the song on 5th fret of A# string.
Lots of feedback and scratching noise, wizard style. :)
